Courtney Paris is a New Albany, Indiana-based photographer with a wide range of experience. She is comfortable in settings ranging from personal, private photo sessions to large group events. Her pictures convey the emotions of her subjects because Courtney loves to connect with those she photographs. Courtney is a mother of two young children who serve as her inspiration. She is grateful for their willingness to play along with her photographic adventures.
“I have always been compelled to take the talents I was blessed with and use them to give back whenever possible. One of these ways is through an organization called Knitting For A Need. This group meets twice a month to knit and crochet items for local less-fortunate and area hospitals. We’ve created hats, scarves, mittens and even the tiniest little IV covers. Not only is this an easy way to give back to the community it keeps my hands busy and out of the kitchen!I am an affiliated photographer for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization. NILMDTS is an organization that works with volunteer photographers and families who don’t get to take their babies home from the hospital. This is a cause that is near and dear to my hear as both my children spent time in the NICU after being born.”
